Drum roll, please. Just kidding, everyone can figure out that Finn Bálor was pencilled in as Seth's original tag partner just by looking at the picture accompanying this entry. The fact this one got away is going to make an awful lot of people mad WWE went with one Jason Jordan as Raw Tag-Team Champion instead.

The Wrestling Observer spread the news this week that Bálor was in line to team with Rollins and beat The Bar for the tag belts on Christmas Day. Tyler Black, Fergal Devitt and Claudio Castagnoli in the one match on Christmas is the stuff independent wrestling fan dreams were once made of, so it's a shame it didn't happen in the end.

Jordan's plan is long-term. WWE want him to slowly turn heel by losing tag matches with Rollins and refusing to take the blame for it. That's logical, but it would have been amazing to see Seth team up with Finn for a while and position them as a new 'Bálor Club meets Shield' in the interim.
