10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Jan 8)
2. Every WrestleMania 31 Champion Is Out With Injuries
Looking back to WrestleMania 31 makes it abundantly clear just how quickly WWE's product moves nowadays. On that evening, Seth Rollins cashed in his 'Money In The Bank' briefcase to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Also on the show, John Cena defeated Rusev to become WWE United States Champion. Daniel Bryan pleased many upon winning a multi-man Ladder Match to win the Intercontinental Title, and the then-Tag-Team Champions, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd defended their belts during the 'Kick Off' pre show. Adding to the list of champions on the card, Nikki Bella worked a tag-team bout and was the WWE Divas Champion at the time. Remarkably, every single one of those champions is currently on the injury list at the moment. In other words, no reigning champion from the last WrestleMania is on the active roster competing week-to-week. It's unclear whether or not this is a first, but it doesn't seem likely to be something that occurs regularly.
