Ignore the fact that it wouldn't have been an in-ring classic, because simply seeing The Ultimate Warrior shake those ropes and perform his big splash finisher on Ryback for the win would've been worth it at WrestleMania XXX. Yes, Ryback vs. Warrior was initially in the pipeline for 'Mania XXX.

Ryback himself spilled the news on his Conversations With The Big Guy podcast recently, and claimed he was even shown a tentative booking sheet that included his match with the legend. Wondering what this would do for his character, Ryback was torn between being excited about potentially having Warrior's last match and looking like a fool for losing.

The idea was scrapped shortly afterwards and Ryback teamed with Curtis Axel on the WrestleMania pre-show, but he was originally supposed to wrestle The Ultimate Warrior on the card. Concerned about what shape Warrior would be in for an actual match, Ryback admitted he would still have agreed to do it regardless.
