10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (July 3)

8. WWE 2K16 To Feature Largest Roster Ever

https://twitter.com/WWE2Kdev/status/615725055788486658 One major complaint video game fans have had against recent WWE titles is that the games seem to be missing something. A lot of that ill-feeling seems to revolve around the fact that WWE 2K15 was lacking a lot of content, stuff which had actually been stripped out from 2K14, even though 2K15 was appearing for the first time on the 'new' generation of consoles. Another problem many have with the games is that there aren't enough playable characters, but that seems to be something 2K Sports are eager to rectify. The upcoming WWE 2K16 game will feature over 120 playable male and female characters, according to the development house, but there were concerns that a lot of these choices would be drip-fed as part of DLC content. Tweeting out to allay fears over heavy use of DLC, 2K have expressly stated that the 120 figure relates to unique characters, not doubles - such as having multiple attires for each star - and not necessarily DLC. It seems that 120 characters will be available from the off too, shipping with the game. This is a huge number, clearly, so hopefully 2K are looking to make up for what was a stripped-down experience last time out.
