10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (July 3)

3. The Bella Twins Beg WWE For More Divas

At the moment, The Bella Twins are two of the most powerful females in the WWE system. Married to John Cena and Daniel Bryan respectively, Nikki and Brie are at the top of the Diva division mountain, something which has been written into storylines for the purpose of a feud against Paige. As the reigning WWE Divas Champion, Nikki Bella said during an appearance at the Wizard World Comic-Con in Sacramento, California this past week that both she and her sister are desperate to see those in charge draft in more women to work alongside them, strengthening the Diva division in the process. It's hard to argue with that logic, because there isn't a deep female talent pool on the main roster, so it'd make perfect sense for WWE management to look to NXT and call some of the women under contract in development up to Raw and Smackdown. Nikki and Brie say this is exactly what they want, because they repeatedly find themselves in the same feuds, against the same performers.
