WWE would have given Kofi Kingston the green light to throw up a middle finger on SmackDown. They might feel like Kurt Angle's statement during a Facebook Q&A session with fans was a metaphorical one, and it's unlikely to please Vince McMahon or any other top brass.

When asked by a fan to name a match of his Angle felt could never be topped, the legend replied that facing Chris Benoit at the 2003 Royal Rumble left him buzzing. As soon as the match was over, Kurt was sure he'd just had the best match of his career, and it's one he's still proud of today.

The problem? Benoit was involved, and he's persona non grata in WWE nowadays.

WWE won't appreciate Angle bringing Benoit's name up so casually, especially when he then went on to talk about how proud he was of working with him. Kurt is right, of course (the match was an absolute belter), but Benoit isn't someone WWE like talent discussing.
