A lot of eyebrows were raised when Eric Bischoff was announced as the new Executive Director of SmackDown. His WWE return isn't one many saw coming, and it marks an exciting time for the company; realistically, Bischoff and Paul Heyman (who has the same gig on Raw) will be direct competition to make their brand superior.

Bisch is taking this very seriously.

On his '83 Weeks' podcast, the ex-WCW boss revealed he's actually uprooting his family from their Cody, Wyoming home and moving to Connecticut. To Eric, this is the "biggest opportunity" he's ever had in wrestling. Yes, he's including his time in charge of WCW, and his shock jump to WWE as on-air talent the first time in 2002 there.

At 64 years old, Bischoff is willing to relocate and put his all into the job, because he reasons it's not one he can do remotely. That's serious dedication from someone who doesn't exactly need to change his entire life at this stage. Eric is clearly excited by the challenge and wants to smash it.
