Eyebrows were raised to the ceiling when news broke that Brock Lesnar would be fighting at the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view. Still one of WWE's biggest marquee stars, Lesnar has been given special dispensation by Vince McMahon to compete inside the Octagon. This is the kind of thing nobody could see coming.

Even more shocking, McMahon wasn't really up for granting Lesnar the fight at first. Brock had to do some convincing, and he did so in highly unconventional fashion, challenging Vince to an arm-wrestling contest backstage.

If Vince won, Lesnar would turn down the MMA offer. If Brock won, McMahon could have no qualms about seeing one of his major names stroll onto UFC pay-per-view once more.

Speaking with ESPN about the scenario, Lesnar told how he won the arm-wrestling match and went on to accept the deal. That's insane, but it just shows how far natural competitive spirit can get someone in WWE.

As soon as his arm hit the table, McMahon must have been questioning his judgement. His pride definitely got the better of him there.
