7. Magnus Thinks Roman Reigns Is A Victim Of The Times
Interviews with Nick 'Magnus' Aldis make it clear that he's a well-spoken, intelligent man. A recent appearance on the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show only confirmed that, as Magnus discussed everything from Brock Lesnar's immense presence, to his real thoughts on TNA. Also coming up in the conversation, Roman Reigns is someone Magnus claims he feels sympathy for.
A simple question from the host about the failures of the pro wrestling industry today turned into a full-on monologue about Reigns and his current struggles. Talking about fans chanting and negatively responding to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Magnus said that he believes things might have been different for Reigns had he come along a decade or so earlier.
The former TNA World Champion also stated that Reigns is a victim of how everyone in wrestling strives to listen to a very 'vocal minority'. This has led to a situation wherein WWE now find it difficult to promote someone like Roman as a babyface when he's not fully accepted by that loud and proud section of the audience.
