It didn't quite work out for quirky, NXT sensation Adam Rose on the main roster. Do WWE deserve some blame for that? Absolutely. Do they deserve all the blame? Not according to Rose himself. In an interview with the Orlando Sentinel this week, he admitted to freezing when it mattered most.

NXT, and it's friendly Full Sail University atmosphere, was his home. When agents told him he'd be moving up to the main roster right after WrestleMania XXX, he was "petrified". Doubts crept into Adam's mind that he might not be able to cope with more pressure, and he wasn't sure how he'd adapt to being on the road four or five days a week rather than training at the Performance Center either.

So, regrettably, he faded rather than grasping his golden ticket. That fear would never leave him through runs as a party host, pompous artiste or Social Outcasts member. Through all of that booking, he remained scared that he didn't belong.

Shame, because the guy had natural charisma in spades.
