5. Vince Russo Hits Out At WWE's Booking Of Seth Rollins

A major problem facing WWE in the modern era has been their love affair with booking main event heels to be cowardly. Even though these performers previously portray tough-as-nails attitudes before reaching the top of the mountain, they suddenly become fearful and anxious when they win the WWE Title, which has been a source of bemusement for many enthusiasts looking on. Seth Rollins is the latest victim of this booking mentality, one WWE's creative team seem to rely on more often than not to piece together the heel champion's feuds and top line matches. Vince Russo, a former chief of that very creative squad, isn't a fan of having villains be afraid of their babyface counterparts, and the ex-WWE and WCW writer said as much during his most recent blog. Russo remarked that it's counterproductive to portray Rollins, an excellent performer and heel, as anything other than strong. A lot of folks will agree with those sentiments, definitely more so than they have with Russo's previous words regarding both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn! Is it silly for WWE to repeatedly book their top heels as nervous, frightened individuals when faced with the heroes of the day?
