10. The Iron Sheik's Autobiography Cancelled

If one thing is for sure, absolutely anything involving The Iron Sheik is bound to be entertaining, mainly because the man simply doesn't seem to care what anyone else thinks. There have long been rumours that the guy is playing up the gallery, to use a popular turn of phrase, and has invented a character that's convinced many that the man has actually lost his mind. Whatever the case, he's had a fascinating career. That lengthy pro wrestling journey was all set to be documented in book form, as 'The Iron Sheik: Listen Jabroni!' had been in the works for quite some time. Sadly, ECW Press, the publishers behind such a story, have taken steps to cancel any release of The Iron Sheik's autobiography, and the company didn't really give any details as to why during their short statement. Instead, ECW Press simply advertised that they were releasing a book about Pat Patterson in the near future and left it at that. Sheik had previously been linked with a book deal involving WWE, but the promotion were reportedly horrified by the language prevalent in the sample chapters they received, promptly cancelling any plans to release the man's story.
