9. The Great Khali Laughs Off 'You Can't Wrestle' Chants
Let's be brutally honest, nobody is ever going to blame The Great Khali for over-selling, or claim that his matches feature far too many high spots. A legitimate giant, the Indian quite clearly finds it difficult to move freely around the ring, making his bouts very slow, pedestrian affairs that don't appeal to many fans nowadays. In the 80's, there's a case to be said that the man would have been a huge star, and whilst he is still an attraction, not many people enjoy watching him wrestle. For years, the big man has been plagued by 'you can't wrestle' chants from audiences around the globe. No matter where he works with WWE, Khali is hit with these words from thousands, but according to the man himself, they don't bother him one bit. Appearing on Chris Jericho's podcast recently, Khali was an affable guest, and the interview makes for a worthwhile listen. Remarkably, The Great Khali laughed off suggestions that he has limited in-ring ability, going on to claim that he could even wrestle for up to one hour if asked. It's unclear whether or not the big guy was trying to be funny with his words, but a 60 minute match involving him - with all due respect - is not something anybody really wants to see.
