Countless interviews since then have featured negative comments from Kurt Angle about the end of his first WWE stint in 2006; once angry at Vince McMahon and Triple H primarily, the Olympic Gold Medal winner has come through a difficult period in his life smiling at the other end, and will now be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame shortly before WrestleMania.

This week, Kurt met with McMahon face-to-face for the first time in almost 11 years. Angle himself revealed this news during a Q&A session on Reddit, even going into detail about what was said between both men during the meeting.

After initial pleasantries, Angle reflected on all of the bad blood that had previously existed and wanted to apologise to Vince for anything he might have said when he was going through a personal battle with addictions.

To his credit, the WWE patriarch didn't even let Kurt finish his speech and embraced him with a hug mid-apology; this surprised Angle, because he realised how many negative things he had said about McMahon and those close to him over the years.
