2. Kevin Owens Thought He'd Have To Wear Singlets During His WWE Run

Those who look back at Kevin Steen's career on the independent circuit will notice that the Canadian wore a unique singlet and t-shirt combination for much of his run.

In the wrestler's mind, such a look wouldn't quite cut it in the aesthetically-obsessed world of WWE, so the rebranded Kevin Owens decided he'd better get some better singlets made that would make him look like more of a star than ever before.

It was only when Owens was confronted by a well-meaning Enzo Amore that he began to realise the error of his ways; approaching KO, Enzo said that Owens should be comfortable in his own skin rather than trying to be something he wasn't just for WWE.

Telling the Steve Austin Show all about this period down in NXT, Owens then went on to disclose that Amore's words resonated with him and he started to recognise why WWE had signed him. Management didn't want Owens to try and be a body guy, because that wasn't part of KO's appeal to begin with.

Enzo Amore was the one to help Owens see that.
