Don't expect to see matches pitting WWE's men against WWE's women on the regular any time soon. In a radio appearance for SXSW 2019, both Triple H and Charlotte Flair expressed negative views on the idea of intergender wrestling. Their comments couldn't have been more dismissive of the concept.

First, Charlotte said that she "didn't want" to wrestle men. To her, intergender spots represent a "cheap" and "easy reaction" rather than a challenge or good story. Then, Trips chipped in to say that the whole demand for men vs. women is "baffling" to him. He'd much rather women were able to stand on their own merits.

Triple H did make a good point when he said that female athletes don't need men to make them relevant. Although true, that's not strictly why some fans want to see matches between Becky Lynch, Flair, Ronda Rousey and the guys. There's some demand for it because those workers have raised the bar for how credible women can be in the company.

Still, it doesn't look like there's any interest in intergender action on WWE's side. Dean Ambrose vs. Nia Jax was a one-off then.
