Randy Savage didn't call himself the 'Macho Man' for no good reason, y'know. When he joined the WWF in June 1985, he quickly became one of the most dynamic stars in the biz, and he did it all without a jacket. Confused? Let B. Brian Blair, then one half of The Killer Bees tag-team, explain.

In an interview with The Hannibal TV, Blair said it took Savage and Miss. Elizabeth several months of employment before they agreed to move up to New York. When they did, the city was gripped by a harsh, freezing cold winter. For some reason, Randy walked around the snowy streets without a coat.

He was so frugal he held off around three weeks until his 15 November birthday (or possibly Christmas, according to Blair) before he'd let Elizabeth buy him a jacket. Instead, Randy strolled around New York in cut-off t-shirts or vests, which must've been quite the sight.

'Macho Madness'? Sounds like it.
