It can't have been easy for Marty Jannetty to sit and watch as his former tag-team partner went on to become one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, but the success of Shawn Michaels has contrasted mightily with Jannetty's more modest accomplishments since The Rockers split.

After Michaels coldly crashed Marty through the Barber Shop window in December, 1991 (the segment was aired on television in January, 1992), seeds were planted for a match between the former pals at WrestleMania VIII.

Sadly for Jannetty, his attack of a police officer and subsequent arrest prevented The Rockers from working together come 'Mania at all.

Admitting to Sports Illustrated that he still gets down when imagining what might have been, the former Intercontinental Champ was forced to sit and watch as Michaels faced Tito Santana in the show's opener instead; Jannetty would eventually get his one-on-one feud with Shawn in 1993, but their most high profile match fell at Royal Rumble, not WrestleMania.
