9. Jinder Mahal Dressed As The Rock For Wrestling Training

If Rusev's car-kipping story is endearing, then consider this: Jinder Mahal turned up to his first few training sessions dressed as The Rock.

That's not a joke. On Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast, Jinder said he deliberately shaved in sideburns just to resemble his hero, and he even wore one of Rocky's WWF t-shirts to boot. No prizes for guessing who Mahal idolised before his career took off. To Jinder, The Rock was the embodiment of pro wrestling.

Lord only knows what Bad News Brown (Mahal's trainer) thought of him when he rocked up dressed like "The Great One" and copied The Rock's mannerisms. Today, Jinder readily admits that he cringes when looking back at this time.

If he starts using catchphrases like, "If you smell what The Modern Day Maharaja is cooking" on TV though, we'll pop. Go on, trade those fine suits for a Hawaiian shirt, Maharaja.
