8. Shinsuke Nakamura Would Prefer SmackDown Over Raw

Shinsuke Nakamura

Disappointed comments popped up and spread like wild fire when it became clear that Japanese sensation Shinsuke Nakamura wasn't going to be involved in last Summer's WWE Draft.

One of the most popular names in the NXT system, Nakamura is the kind of world class performer that doesn't necessarily need honing in the developmental league; although most fans would generally agree that NXT has been good for Shinsuke, there's also a belief that he could have hit WWE's main roster straight away.

Broaching that subject to CBS Sports, the former New Japan star himself was candid in his thoughts about both major brands. In fact, Nakamura said that his preference would be blue, because he'd love to tangle with the likes of Randy Orton and John Cena, rather than relying on matches opposite friends (like Finn Balor and Samoa Joe) over on Raw.

As good as those bouts would be, it appears the charismatic star would much rather have some dream matches first to make a splash on the main roster.
