10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 10)

10. Davey Boy Jr Thought Bret Hart's HOF Attacker Was Enzo Amore

Anyone who watched the Hall Of Fame ceremony shortly before WrestleMania 35 live could tell you that Bret Hart's attacker wasn't Enzo Amore. That didn't stop Davey Boy Smith Jr, who was in attendance for his uncle's induction, from believing nZo was making his first WWE comeback since last year's Survivor Series.

It's true.

In an interview with The Hannibal TV, the one-time David Hart Smith told how he feared Enzo was back in WWE once A-more. Smith also admitted to thinking for a second or two that the whole thing was a work and that Bret was going to put Enzo in the Sharpshooter. Sorry, but that's ever-so-slightly comical.

What isn't hilarious is the fact nobody knew the ambusher's real intentions, and it definitely isn't cool that Hart was left shaken up by the incident. Lord only knows why Davey Boy's first thought was that WWE were running a last-minute angle between Bret and Enzo though.
