10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 10)
9. Bruiser Brody's Widow Didn't Know About WWE's HOF
Let's stick with the WWE Hall Of Fame theme for a minute.
In another chat conducted by The Hannibal TV on the ceremony, Bruiser Brody's widow Barbara Goodish revealed something incredible: she didn't have a clue that WWE planned to induct her late husband. They didn't call to let her know, and she only found out on the day of the show after seeing something online.
Common practice for the HOF's post-humous inductions is for WWE to have a family member in attendance to witness them or maybe say a few words. Goodish didn't get that invitation, and she's not exactly thrilled about it. Her interview with Hannibal was a rather frosty one, especially when she was asked for her thoughts on the company.
Brody went in as part of the 'Legacy' group alongside fellow ex-pros like Wahoo McDaniel, Luna Vachon and Buddy Rose. His induction is probably one Barbs would've enjoyed seeing for herself rather than hearing about it when it was too late to attend.
