10. Corey Graves Ditched His High School Prom To Wrestle

Long before emerging as one of WWE's brightest commentary hopes, Corey Graves also had a promising in-ring career in NXT. Go back even further and the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native wrestled regularly on local independent shows from the tender age of 15 onwards.

That means Graves had started wrestling weekly before he had even left high school. A video posted to WWE's YouTube page this week was largely throwaway content focused on which stars attended prom at school, and it was all pretty boring stuff - until Corey revealed he blew off the senior dance so he could go live out his dreams as a wrestler.

Working in front of around 14 people instead of getting smoochy with the ladies, Graves actually hadn't attended his junior prom either. Figuring he would definitely go in his senior year, the current Raw announcer didn't bank on ditching it for wrestling.
