8. Camp WWE Was Vince McMahon's Own Vision

Camp WWE marks somewhat of a departure for the company these days. An adult-themed animated series isn't something many could have foresaw, but the cartoon has since launched on the WWE Network. Seth Green (of Family Guy and Robot Chicken fame) is a lead producer for the project.

The cartoon depicts Vince McMahon as the leader of a Summer Camp, one full of child-like representations of popular WWE stars from past and present. It's an interesting premise, one that will probably take a while to really get going. During an interview with WWE's official website, Green said that the company are fully behind Camp WWE, tentatively planning for as many as ten whole seasons.

Incredibly, the whole thing apparently wasn't pitched to McMahon, but was rather his own idea. Better yet, the boss decided to voice his own character, taking the decision to completely make a fool out of his over-the-top nature and send up his public persona.

Camp WWE came out of nowhere, so it's fascinating to learn that it was Vince's idea all along.
