10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 1)

9. Titus O'Neil Turns 38

Making his WWE debut during the second season of the original NXT concept, Titus O'Neil looked like the ideal candidate for a short-lived push in the company. That shunt would only come as part of the Prime Time Players tag-team - working alongside Darren Young, there was a period a few years ago when O'Neil was modestly over with the WWE fan base. Aborting a run as a singles heel - along with a run alongside Heath Slater in another duo - the Prime Time Players recently reunited, as Titus saved Young from a beatdown at the hands of The Ascension. This neither represents a step forwards or backwards for the big man, it simply is what it is, he has his role on the roster and he seems content with it. This week, O'Neil celebrated his 38th birthday, an age which may surprise some fans. Reportedly, the former American Football player has a decent relationship with none other than Vince McMahon, and is perceived as having a good personality backstage amongst many peers and staff, so it'd be nice to see that come to the fore more often. At 38, has the ship sailed on a potential push as a singles star?
