10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 1)
10. WWE Reveal Reason For Seth Rollins Not Using Curb Stomp
As we heard last week, WWE have forced Seth Rollins to stop using the Curb Stomp but this week we learned the reason for it with the feeling being that the move is too dangerous, putting the man's peers at risk of concussion. Of course, head injuries have become a hot topic in the sporting world, and wrestling is no different, concussions are looked at far more seriously than they ever were before. Nonetheless, it's a shame that Rollins looks set to kiss goodbye to the move, one which has made for several memorable moments on television and Pay-Per-View, most recently at WrestleMania 31, when Randy Orton sprung out of the set-up to the move and delivered a thunderous RKO. Will the move ever make a comeback? Perhaps it will be reserved for special occasions, only being performed on those who fully trust Rollins, but for now, it has been shelved. The Curb Stomp joins the likes of the Sitout Powerbomb and Piledriver on the list of moves that are rarely seen.
