Collectively known as Demolition, Ax and Smash remain one of the most highly-regarded tag-teams in WWF/WWE history. In the late-1980's and into the early-90's, they were the promotion's face-painted phenomenon, only losing some shine when Crush joined their ranks.

Akin to The Road Warriors, the duo were popular whether playing heel or babyface, but not everything was perfect for them personally.

The Hannibal TV conducted an interview with Demolition, during which the subject of The Ultimate Warrior came up. Vince McMahon's new hand-picked vision for the future, Warrior failed to carry the company on his back the same way Hulk Hogan had, and he was sometimes placed in multi-man matches to conceal his shortcomings.

Working numerous six-man tag bouts with Warrior and teams like The Road Warriors (renamed Legion Of Doom in the WWF), Demolition admitted that they seldom looked forward to the matches.

When they were scheduled against smaller units like The Rockers, they knew they'd have an easy night. Unfortunately, they found it hard to work with Warrior's act, as he just did his own thing and never truly gelled in the ring with Demolition.
