6. Chris Jericho's 'It' Catchphrase Was Completely Improvised
Completely reinventing himself for a modern generation, Chris Jericho's catchphrase-laden style has caught on with WWE fans. Lines like, 'You've Just Made The List' and 'Drink It In, Man' are wildly popular on Monday Night Raw. Joining them is one simple word that Y2J started using entirely by happenstance.
On the May 30, 2016 episode of Monday Night Raw, Jericho appeared alongside Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio in a simple backstage promo. At first, the scenario seemed throwaway. Arguing amongst one another, the trio were led by some brilliant banter between Jericho and Owens.
Towards the end of the skit, Jericho warned his fellow Canadian that he better watch himself, otherwise he'd get 'it'. When KO asked what 'it' was, Y2J answered with the same word in comedic fashion.
Telling Live Audio Wrestling about what happened next, Jericho said that Owens suggested he keep using the phrase because it was hilarious. From there, Jericho knew he was onto something that could prove to be comedy gold.
Since then, he has lengthened the gap before saying 'it', building anticipation. The whole thing started under random circumstances.
