As Wade Barrett, one Stu Bennett lost his passion for pro wrestling during his final days in WWE. This is something the Englishman has admitted before to the media; it's not hard to see why he wasn't thrilled either. 'King' Barrett was a useless idea that should have been left on the cutting room floor before making it to TV.

After recently being unveiled as the new GM of Defiant Wrestling, Bennett told SportsBible that he couldn't help but get caught up in the emotion at Refuse To Lose on October 2. That show was WCPW's final iPPV, and Bennett said hearing the fans respond passionately to men like Marty Scurll, Joe Hendry and Will Ospreay made him want to wrestle again.

Bennett provided guest commentary for the main event alongside Dave Bradshaw and James R. Kennedy, but he was privately thinking about how cool it'd be to in the ring wrestling. That's quite the compliment to Scurll, Hendry and Ospreay. They were able to make an ex-WWE Superstar feel excited again.
