He's worked countless Ladder Matches (including TLC), Steel Cage and other gimmick bouts, but this Sunday will mark Jeff Hardy's first taste of what it's like to work a Hell In A Cell match. That's remarkable for someone who's been in WWE, on and off, since the mid-90s.

It's not for the want of trying.

Jeff told Wrestling Inc this week that he's always campaigned hard to be involved in HIAC, and that pitching began during his first run with the company. In his second, between 2006-2009, that lobbying intensified. For some reason though, WWE wouldn't listen to his pleas, and so Hardy was left wanting. This could have major bearings on what happens this weekend.

It wouldn't out of character for Jeff to unbottle his excitement and anticipation for the stipulation match and do something dangerous. Hardy has wanted this moment for over 20 years now, and he probably never thought he'd get it in 2018.
