"I would have loved to have done something up there".

Chris van Vliet can't have been expecting Diamond Dallas Page to wax lyrical about Paul Heyman's ECW when he sat down with the yoga guru to talk All In. That's what happened however, and Page also revealed that another NWA/WCW legend used to give him shivers when he spoke of the ECW Arena.

DDP's good pal Dusty Rhodes had a short run with Heyman's organisation in 2000, and he memorably beat Steve Corino in a 'Texas Bullrope' match at Living Dangerously. Although that pay-per-view took place in Connecticut, Rhodes did get the chance to appear in front of the rowdy crowd in Philadelphia, and he considered it a career highlight.

Long after the original ECW had gone to the wall, Dusty later told Page that he felt bad for him. To Rhodes, DDP would've been perfect for the promotion, because the rabid fans in Philly would have loved his everyman character. Page agrees, and he still regrets never getting the chance.
