As himself, Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind, Mick Foley has starred in some of the best and most cherished matches of all time. His jaw-dropping HIAC epic with The Undertaker in 1998, those ultra-stiff beatings Vader gave him in WCW throughout 1993-1994, the stunning back-to-back matches with Triple H at Royal Rumble and No Way Out 2000. They're all so, so memorable.

The Mickster thinks they're over-rated.

Yes, Foley took his own work to task on the Press Slam podcast this week by claiming some of his most iconic matches don't stand the test of time the way he'd like them to. For any aficionado of the man's career, that must be heart-breaking news. Unlike almost everyone who watched them first hand, ol' Mick doesn't see what all the fuss is about.

When asked on where he stands in wrestling history, Foley repeated that he's a "bit over-rated". Ouch. This fan cannot agree with those sentiments. In fact, Mick was a better in-ring worker than some give him credit for.
