Since Ted DiBiase decided to step away from the ring full-time in 1993, countless heels have used his infamous 'Million Dollar Man' character as inspiration. In many ways, that arrogant, rich persona is a template for the successful wrestling heel. It's easy to spot numerous traits DiBiase exhibited in current villains like The Miz, for example.

It's fairly well-known that Vince McMahon had created the 'Million Dollar Man' before hiring DiBiase in the 1980's. McMahon longed to play such a character himself, but felt it would be perfect for the articulate wrestler, something DiBiase certainly was.

One thing that's not common knowledge is that Ted hesitated on joining the WWF, simply because McMahon dropped a bombshell on him during initial meetings. Further, a stalwart of the industry gave DiBiase some crucial advice of his own.

Find out what that was in this week's article, one that collates ten wrestling facts we didn't know last week. Alongside Ted DiBiase's story, there are facts and stories regarding the likes of Ryback, Dusty Rhodes and Becky Lynch.

Let's look at the facts...

In many ways, Becky Lynch was the only choice to become the first ever SmackDown Women's Champion. Even though she shared the ring with five other females at Backlash, Lynch was the one most deserving of the new title. Watching her reaction post-match makes it obvious that the victory was a dream come true for the Irish grappler.

Talking to News Talk Sport this week, Becky revealed that she still hadn't come to terms with the big pay-per-view win the morning after. Waking up early, the new titleholder had to try and wrap her head around what the triumph would mean for her career.

Over breakfast, Lynch decided to sit down and write about the experience. As if her glassy-eyed promo after winning wasn't enough, this proves that Becky was truly grateful for the opportunity to become champion. In order to properly piece together what had happened, and how far she had come, the new SmackDown Women's Champ had to jot some words down and attempt to seek validation over the biggest moment of her career to date.
