As aforementioned, Booker T could hardly be considered one of the best play-by-play guys in WWE history. In fact, the ex-World Champion is often the odd man out on Raw, occasionally even getting in the way of banter between Michael Cole and Byron Saxton. Still, at least Booker is enjoying himself with the headset.

Appearing on Ring Rust Radio this week, the Hall Of Famer said it's a dream come true to get a shot at announcing for WWE. Despite a lack of broadcast experience, Booker did come armed with crucial knowledge of in-ring psychology and was also one hell of a promo man during his career. That's why he was given the gig.

Further, Booker could sometimes be found pretending to do his own commentary over matches behind the curtain. Picture the legend camped out in front of the monitor with the show on mute, talking over the action and adding his own opinions. That passion landed him the job.
