Those who watched WWE's version of ECW in 2008 may remember the short-lived run of Braden Walker. One of the most generic characters to ever grace the program, Walker was played by former TNA Tag-Team Champion Chris Harris, who worked wonderfully alongside James Storm for years as America's Most Wanted.

Walker only lasted around a month on the main roster, before Harris was released from contract in early-August. It was hardly an illustrious run, but the man himself is still perplexed over what WWE were hoping to achieve with such a dull, uninspiring gimmick. Speaking to Main Event Radio, Harris revealed a different kind of character he had pitched to WWE higher ups.

In the same mould as The Shield, Harris wanted to play a bounty hunter style character on the main roster. Weirdly, this almost fits in with the line that Braden Walker would use, telling wrestlers that he was going to 'knock their brains out'.

Ultimately, the idea was rejected by management and the writing team decided to go in a different direction. Harris never felt he was given a real chance in the company to show what he could do.
