Celebrating his 74th birthday on January 19, Pat Patterson is highly-regarded amongst top stars in the wrestling world for his ability to create interesting match finishes. Legends such as Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan have repeatedly given Patterson credit for his creativity, stating that some of their best matches may not have been quite as memorable had Patterson not had his input. The feedback from the 2015 edition of the Royal Rumble has not been great - a lot of fans described being left with a bitter taste in their mouths, once again feeling WWE are shoving a top babyface down their throats. Something which may surprise people, is that Pat Patterson had a lot to do with the Rumble match itself.
