For whatever reason, poor Mike Jones was the man handpicked by Bobby Heenan to become the wrestling industry's longest-running in-joke. When the jobber known as Lucius Brown was reintroduced as the paid lackey of 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase - himself a vague play on rival media mogul Ted Turner - he was rechristened 'Virgil', taking the Christian name of WCW perennial and erstwhile pen Virgil 'Dusty Rhodes' Runnels.
