10 Wrestling Guitarists Ranked From Worst To Best

3. West Texas Rednecks

In typical WCW fashion, management mangled a feud between Master P’s No Limit Soldiers and Curt Hennig’s West Texas Rednecks. Although the No Limit Soldiers were booked as beloved rappers, capitalizing on the mainstream popularity of the genre in 1999, the promotion’s traditional Southern fanbase preferred the country-singing veterans.

With Bobby Duncum Jr. on lead guitar, Barry Windham on drums, Kendall Windham on bass guitar, Curly Bill (Virgil) on tambourine, and Hennig on guitar and lead vocal, the West Texas Rednecks earned a cult following. Their popularity soared when they released 'Rap Is Crap', a catchy lil’ ditty that actually received radio play on country stations.
