10 Wrestling Guitarists Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Jeff Jarrett

The son of Memphis territory promoter (and chicken salad lover) Jerry Jarrett, Jeff burst onto the WWE radar in 1993 as Double J, a country singer looking to catapult his wrestling success into a music career. He wore flashing cowboy hats and sunglasses, strutting in his suspenders along with his lackey Roadie. He’d go on to win the Intercontinental Championship six times before leaving WWE for WCW, although he continued to smash a guitar over his foes’ heads long after the country gimmick ended.

However, here’s why Double J doesn’t top the list – he was a fraud! It was revealed that Jarrett lip-synched With My Baby Tonight, and that Roadie was actually the voice responsible for the hit song. The jury is still out on whether Jarrett can actually play guitar.
