10 Wrestling Hoaxes That Fooled The Internet

5. Stephanie McMahon Was A Wild Child

A moderately graphic image (public transport warning) of an anonymous young woman stormed the wrasslin' Internet years back, when whomever stumbled upon it alleged that the subject was one Stephanie McMahon.

If you squint, you can perhaps see a certain similarity in bone structure. The prominent, well-defined jawline is in place, as is the nose. The key giveaway is that, whomever this young lady is, she has the capacity to smile genuinely. This image, to some, supported another urban legend concerning one Randy Savage. We don't need to go over that ground again here, nor confuse an apparent wild streak with the ability to consent.

And so what if it was Stephanie in that picture (it isn't)? Raven used to take a young Shane McMahon out on the town, and that puts him up there in the "what a legend" stratosphere. Shane is just "one of the boys"; the Prince Harry of the McMahon clan who somehow enjoys status as the lesser, "coolest" of all evils.

Stephanie McMahon might have partied hard in her youth. So bloody what. Much rather that than what she got up to in her adult life, which tended to involve slapping the sh*t out of the stars you were meant to take seriously as ass-kickers.
