Ok, now we move on to law enforcement characters that actually wrestled. In the dying days of the AWA, only one man kept evildoers in line. And when Sgt. Slaughter was busy, that man was The Trooper.

Most remembered as The Patriot during the Attitude Era, Del Wilkes first adopted a police officer gimmick, handing out plastic badges to fans and writing tickets to defeated opponents. His finisher was aptly named The Big Pinch as he would squeeze foes into submission with his deadly nerve hold.

Although his run was short-lived, The Trooper does hold the distinction of being one half of the last AWA Tag Team Champions.
