6. Sheriff Austin

After years of being anti-authority, Stone Cold Steve Austin became the boss. Well, he was already the boss when partnered with Eric Bischoff as co-General Manager of Raw, but true bosses don’t share power. They wear plastic badges on their T-shirt, rock cut-off jean shorts in December and drive four-wheelers all around the arena.

Stone Cold became the sheriff of Raw after his team lost at Survivor Series 2003, forcing him to relinquish his co-GM power and leave the company. But that ol’ rattlesnake can’t stay away for too long, and a few weeks later, Linda McMahon granted him overriding authority of Bischoff.

It was a brief run as Austin was limited in what he could do besides stunning everyone on the roster (without them attacking back because of his injuries) and bashing beers together at the end of every show.
