10 Wrestling Matches That Ended In Unbelievable Locations

1. Kenny Omega Vs. Mike Angels - A Dirt Hill

For poor Mike Angels, he was casually sat at home, playing some Super Mario World in his downtime, when Kenny Omega came knock, knock, knocking on his chamber door and demanded a match. Thankfully, Angels just so happened to have his full wrestling gear on underneath his dressing gown.

What followed, is one of the most opinion-splitting, truly unique pro wrestling contests that we've ever seen.

The action goes from Angels' front room, to his kitchen, to his yard, to a nearby lake, to a field, to a sandpit, and finally concludes when Kenny hits a Michinoku Driver on the top of a dirt hill to get the win. An unrelenting battle that had plenty of slapstick comedy and incredible athleticism to it, this was every inch a wrestling version of those Peter Griffin vs. Giant Chicken wars seen in Family Guy across the years.

Reportedly, it was upon seeing this match in 2008 - with the footage becoming quite the viral sensation at one point in time - that DDT reached out to bring Omega over to Japan. From there, the Canadian would soon meet Kota Ibushi and kickstart his career to an entirely different level.
