4. Cactus Jack Vs. Van Hammer - A Rodeo Arena

Way before Cactus Jack was introduced to WWE audiences, and even before the Truth or Consequences native's time in ECW, Cactus was doing, well, Cactus things in WCW in the early '90s.

From your writer's own experience, Jack was unlike anything else in mainstream professional wrestling at that point in time. As a heel butting heads with Sting, Cactus was a genuinely terrifying figure for young fans. As a babyface, the real-life Mick Foley was still dishing out all kinds of wince-inducing brutality - just this time it was directed at the villains of the promotion.

Still sitting on the heel side of the fence when he faced Van Hammer at Clash of the Champions XVIII in January '92, Cactus Jack got to showcase what he was all about, thanks to the Fall Counts Anywhere stipulation that was in place. Emanating from Topeka, Kansas' Expocenter, the creativity and viciousness of Foley saw him drag his hair metal enthusiast opponent across the arena and into the rodeo ring next door.

It was here that Jack got the pinfall, which came thanks to an errant shovel shot from Abdullah the Butcher which accidentally struck Hammer. From there, Cactus and Abby continued to brawl through the rodeo ring, and the Butcher even randomly dunked Missy Hyatt in a water trough.
