10 Wrestling Matches That Pissed Off Fans

7. The Fiend Vs. Seth Rollins - Hell In A Cell 2019

Do you know sh*tty something has to be to get a WWE fan to chant "AEW"?

Think about it. Really think about the tribalism that infests wrestling discourse. It is impossible for an ardent WWE fan to like AEW and vice versa. Through the magic of working for a different set of initials, their favourite ex-WWE wrestlers suck now. And also, you're a smark AEWsexual for liking it and they don't even have "proper" feuds because they don't do two DQ finishes before the third match lmao cry-laugh emoji. Acknowledge the Tribal Chief, Usos better, f*ck Aubrey Edwards for wearing lipstick and having a mind of her own.

So just how sh*tty does something have to get?

Well, a match in which you can't even see the action and can still see it killing someone's career did the trick. The Fiend Vs. Seth Rollins was an illogical migraine-inducing atrocity in which hammers were illegal in a match in which nothing is illegal, unless, of course, they were bigger than the illegal hammer. In which case they were illegal.

That will get WWE fans to chant for AEW.
