More nightmarish spectacle than wrestling match, Undertaker vs. Mankind at King Of The Ring nonetheless spawned one of the most famous spots in wrestling history, as 'The Phenom' tossed the company's biggest crash test dummy from atop Hell In A Cell and through the announcement table.

Jim Ross' "Good God almighty! That killed him!" remains one of his most iconic calls. From that point, it was tough to do anything other than watch through one's fingers. Fans were used to Foley's stunts, but never on this scale, and though Mick suffered a dislocated shoulder from the fall, it continued.

Minutes later, he was sent crashing from a near-identical height as 'Taker Chokeslammed him through the roof. Mankind's bump was so hideous that his opponent legitimately thought he was dead, and struggled not to break character, but while Foley obviously survived, his body was ravaged.

Cameras lingered on Mankind smiling through a bloody mouth, a dislodged tooth hanging beneath his nose. He left with a concussion, a dislocated jaw and shoulder, bruised ribs, internal bleeding, and numerous puncture wounds, having paid a hefty price for his death-defying immortalisation.
