10 Wrestling Matches WWE Must Promote Before 2018

4. John Cena Vs. Roman Reigns

Now that John Cena is apparently exempt from brand rules and can appear on both Raw and SmackDown, one huge barrier blocking a showdown with Roman Reigns has been eliminated. Ironic given his similarities to Cena, Reigns could kick start a full-fledged heel run by attacking the poster boy he threatens to replace.

It looks for all the world like WWE will keep another singles match pitting Reigns against Brock Lesnar in reserve for WrestleMania, and that means there's a chance Roman vs. Cena could work this year. It could even happen following a 'Team Reigns vs. Team Lesnar' match at Survivor Series; what if Reigns spears Cena out of his boots for trying to hog the spotlight, only to then face him at 2017's final pay-per-view?

Maybe this is a pipe dream and WWE would rather keep Cena vs. Reigns back for a future 'Mania clash, but it'd certainly be a highlight of the year if creative pushed it forward. Both men have been kept largely apart since Reigns rose to Cena's level, so it's a match that feels fresh.
