10 Wrestling Matches WWE Must Promote Before 2018

2. Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H

Kurt Angle could have been grouped with anyone for this entry, because we really just want to see Kurt ditch the General Manager suits, pull on that star-spangled lycra and be a wrestling machine in WWE again. Kurt has named guys like Seth Rollins, Rusev and AJ Styles as favourable opponents, but Angle vs. Triple H would be huge.

One request though, WWE: keep The Authority away from things. Nobody wants to see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon bound back onto TV in some sort of bid to regain control of Raw from Angle, because that's too predictable. Instead, why not have Kurt say he has unfinished business and needs to prove himself against the best?

Instantly, this removes the need for any GM/Commissioner beef and puts focus on the actual match itself. Kurt Angle's first match back in a WWE ring needs to be all about the excitement of seeing that happen, more so than a thinly-veiled backdrop for yet more Authority drama.

If not at SummerSlam (which might be cutting it fine), then Survivor Series would be the best choice to host this one.
