10 Wrestling Matches You Hated Before You Even Saw Them

9. Britt Baker Vs. Big Swole

Event: AEW All Out 2020

Why Fans Hated It: Wrestling's obsession with cinematic-style showpieces went wild during the closed-set days mid-global pandemic. WWE churned out classics like John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36, but delivered a stinker with Bray's later effort vs. Braun Strowman.

Even that was a hoot compared to AEW's 'Tooth & Nail' flop.

Britt Baker vs. Big Swole might actually still be the worst high-profile All Elite match ever. It was certainly one that raised eyebrows going in, and it was a ridiculous decision from Tony Khan to open the pay-per-view this way. People watching at home were not entertained by the clumsy brawl.

It was 10 minutes that felt like 100, and the match turned into a classic example of everything wrong with the cinematic style's overtly goofy (and often unavoidably so) tone. Twitter called it - even AEW's biggest supporters knew this would be a great big pile of dentistry sh*te.
