10 Wrestling Matches You Hated Before You Even Saw Them

4. Butterbean Vs. Bart Gunn

Event: WWF WrestleMania XV

Why Fans Hated It: At least Fury attempted to have a match.

At WrestleMania XV, the WWF enlisted 'Toughman Contest' thumper Butterbean to teach that pesky Bart Gunn a lesson for daring to win their own awful 'Brawl For All' tourney. That had caused eyes to roll amongst fans since 1998, so no-one was looking forward to the reprise at 'Mania.

Predictably, Bart was knocked out by the then-fairly-popular Bean within 35 seconds; the guy was punched so hard that he might've believed he was at Disneyland had the ref told him such. It was a complete and utter waste of time, to be honest. The few minutes dedicated to their entrances could've gone elsewhere on a match that needed it (Mankind vs. Big Show).

You'd be hard-pressed to find anybody who tuned into 'Mania XV thinking this would work. 'Brawl For All' just needed one more disaster, didn't it? Cheers for nothing, Vince Russo.
